PatrickG 5 Posted October 24, 2011 I guess I better start wearing my wedding ring so no one gets the wrong idea. PS I probably sound like a ****** for even starting this topic, but once a topic is started you cannot remove it. 1 LilMissDiva Irene reacted to this

It doesn't sound you are leading anyone on, so enjoy!
Thomas CPA 496 Posted October 25, 2011 It doesn't take long for regulars to notice. I have women at church and local restaurants commenting all the time. Twice I have had women come up comment and even hug me with my wife watching.
Rootman 1,101 Posted October 25, 2011 Yeah, it's a real b**ch being a sex symbol I too have had a few women comment, sometimes inappropriately about my "figure" and new muscles. I really make sure to let the wifey know that I am NOT encouraging these advances. 1 circa reacted to this

PatrickG 5 Posted January 6, 2012 I have not checked my posts in a while. Didn't realize this thread was still alive. On a side note, my wife got me a new wedding band for Christmas since the old one was getting loose. She was totally understanding about the whole thing when I mentioned it, but she does not want any misunderstandings either .
Lissa 2,631 Posted January 6, 2012 I was taught that the appropriate response to a compliment was a smile and a thank you. The appropriate response to crudeness is a frown and a no thank you. As a gal, it Is sometimes hard to make you look great not come across where a guy assumes you mean "and I'd do you". Sometimes it just means you look great. circa 333 Posted January 6, 2012 I love this thread. Its completely appropriate. We're all human! Its NICE to feel admired - even by those that we sometimes feel maybe felt obligated to make us feel admired in our lowest points - which usually coincide with our highest points on the scale. What to do? Enjoy it and go tell your wife that she has exactly what all those women want! Lucky lady!
PatrickG 5 Posted January 6, 2012 It wasn't even a compliment that prompted the original posting. It was a smile from a woman I passed every day while walking on my lunch break. I have since got over it. As my wife said when I first mentioned it "OMG, now you think you're hot and she is probably just being nice."
