Hey guys. I was just wondering how much (on average of course) breast size goes down after surgery? I know everyone is different, but I'm just wondering what to expect. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I have already dropped a cup size and two band sizes. I wasn't that gifted in the breast department to begin with. It is very depressing. :(

I have lost a cup size after losing 120 pounds. I was a D and now I am a C. Hopefully I won't go down anymore as I am almost at my goal weight.

I have lost several band sizes at this point but not the cup size yet, I am sure as I continue to lose weight that will change too.

I went from a solid, perky, happy 40/42 D/DD (depending on the bra cut) to a TINY 32B.

The trend I've noticed since being around and watching other women's progress is those who were well-endowed before weight gain set in, they were able to keep a lot of their volume. For those of us who only had big boobs because we were fat, lose them to a much more drastic degree. I remember being a b/c cup in middle and high school before I got fat so I'm pretty sure I just wasn't meant to have big boobs at a normal weight.

I had a boob reduction in 2000, got rid of 14 lbs off each breast. Was then wearing 44DD and now after WLS and 2 years later a nice 38 D

I have lost 83lbs and several band sizes but no cup loss yet (still a D and sometimes a DD ;) ) but I still plan on losing another -40lbs...I am guessing I will eventually maybe end up in a C cup...only time will tell.

Sadly they have been the first thing to go for me. I have gone from a 42DD to a 38C in 2 months. I hope they stop shrinking now!!!

Started 42D... ended up 34B/C - happily today I am a 34 F!!! ;) Everything is fixable.. even if it's just by buying amazing bras. Maidenform makes a really great lifting and Full Filling bra - can "pump you up" about 2 cup sizes if that's your thing.

I think it does depend a lot on genetics, I was a 46F at my highest, and I'm a 34F now. I've only got a bit more left, and I'm thinking it isn't coming off there. Hopefully anyway!

You mean these two saggy piles of skin I have on my body that were once my big boobs? I always had big boobs now there gross. I was a 46DD now 40D ?, but my bra is to big and I don't want to buy another one yet.

In high school and college I was a 34C, gained weight and went up to a 38C and remained there for a long time. I gained more weight in the last 4 years and went up to a 40C/D. I have lost 37.5 pounds and now my bras are too big. I cant get in all the 38C's yet but my 40's are too big. So I think its safe to say that my band size is going down but my cup size isnt yet. I have lost about 3 inches in my chest so far. I am waiting to buy new bras so I dont have to spend so much money on them. My hubby is always asking if I think I will loose my boobs. I am hoping they just return to the 34C I wore when I was younger, they just wont be as perky!

I was the one that was saying I will never get a boob job... 60 lbs later... yeah - at min I will need a lift. BUT definitely want implants bc they have disappeared... Went from a full 42D to a 38C - almost B... and still losing (only 4 months out).

CRIES!!!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
