AnneAC 5 Posted October 16, 2011 I am 5 days post op and home. Had a great experience with Dr Aceves. Walked within 10 minutes of getting out of recovery and had IV removed 24 hours after surgery. Mim 0 Posted October 17, 2011 Hi Anne, I'm so glad you're home and your recovery is going well. I'm exactly 14 days post-op with Dr. Aceves, and I feel 200% better than I did a week ago. The first few days were rough, but every day since has been a substantial improvement. Today is my first day back at work and it is going surprisingly well. The first 10 days was a struggle for me because of the clear liquid diet, then you can start enjoying flavors again along with the miracle that you see on your scale!
