When does the gurgling stop?

I had an upper GI and an esophagram today to find out what the heck is happening with all of his gurgling. Later this month I'm having an endoscopy. I'll let you guys know if my doctor finds something. Maybe it will shed a little light on things for the rest of you.

I've noticed that it's not as bad for me anymore since switching from Pantoprazole to Dexilant. Also, if the gurgling starts, I lay on my back for a few minutes and it goes away. That's probably not the best idea, but I just hate the gurgles so much.

I'm 4.5 months out and my throat gurgles all the time after I eat. I can feel the air bubbles pushing up into my throat. What I think is happening is the kind of effect you get when you turn a full bottle of Water completely upside down. You know the way the air forces its way into the bottle while the Water is pouring out? That's what I think is happening with the gurgling. I think air is being forcefully displaced while food moves down my esophagus and into my tummy. I'm totally making that up though, so I could be wrong.

I think you're right. That's exactly what it sounds and feels like. 30 day out and still gurgling.
