Lilu 65 Posted October 12, 2011 Right now I don't know if I should be happy or sad. I feel alone in my decision. I want this surgery to cure me off the diabetes that is killing. As I get closer my support is falling apart and I missed the deadline date for the insurance, they change my *** and I corrected the change to a *** that coverages the doctors I am see but that does not take affect till Nov. 2011. And this insurance only gives you six month to get all your ducks in a row. This roller coaster ride is very stressful. I called the clinic and was told that the steps that they want to be done before the surgery can now be less work this time. The required step I had to do 1. Go to two support groups 2. See a Doctor for clearance: Cardiologist Pulmonologist Nuerologist Nutritionist Physiologist 3. Blood test 4. Referral from PCP 5. Then I get the second visit and a date for surgery
EnjoyingWhoIAmBecoming 16 Posted October 12, 2011 I am sorry things seem to not be going as planned. Hang in there. Go ahead and try to get the "new" things done so that you can get the show on the road . It will be all worth it in the long run. So cheer up and look forward to your new beginning.
