Hi, everyone!

I'm new here, though I've lurked from time to time during my information searches. I've thought about WLS for many years, but have always opted to continue struggling along on my own, because gastic bypass seemed too drastic and I wasn't totally comfortable with the idea of lap band. Recently I've had reason to reconsider my options and I've been doing a lot of research. That led me to the gastric sleeve. I'd never heard of it before! The more I research it, the more it seems to be exactly what I've been looking for.

I have a meeting scheduled for the 13th and I'm very excited to find out as much as I possibly can.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and let you know I'll be sticking around and sharing my journey along with the rest of you.

Good luck on your information seeking. For me it was a comfortable choice, I was scared of the lapband (multiple allergies) and didn't want the bypass due to recent bowel surgeries. This just seemed like a good fit for me. Best decision I ever made, loved my surgeon and loving my life as a healthier version of who I was.
