Alex Ko 0 Posted October 5, 2011 I had zero pain for 12 months or so, then I started having a dull persistent pain which did line up w/ an incision. Moved out of state and not thinking it through I went and saw a general GI Doc. Ran blood work, ultra sound and endoscopy. Finding nothing and having my Doc saying sometimes there are no answers I became discouraged. I ended letting it go for another six months hoping it would go away!? Now 18 months out it hasn't and I'm ready to search out a Doc who does sleeves and I'm looking for anyone who might have had an experience like I have. Thanks for any advice. LadyIvy 159 Posted October 12, 2011 I'm sorry to hear you are suffering this. I would definitely find a doctor that knows about your surgery. Keep us informed and gl!
thinoneday 445 Posted October 12, 2011 I'm sorry this is happening to you. Funny thing is today i had a syncope/pass out period. This is the 2nd time this year. these episodes make me feel very tired, weak, nauseated, shaky, and pale for the rest of the day. I don't have any other problems with anything, just this. . i don't want to see a doctor cause i don't have time and i don't want to be told i'm imagining things or nothing is wrong, etc. . . makes me feel stupid. . I don't like feeling stupid. . .

Usually pain in line with an incision is internal adhesions. I get this from a really old surgery and I'm even a decade out. It's not constant though, once in a while. Even when it's around 20g... for it has to be all at once too. I hope you both find out what the issue is... that's no way to be.
Estella 11 Posted November 20, 2011 Perhaps there are further exams to throw? I know some health care providers ask their doctors not to order PET scans, because they are substantially more expensive than other tests. I'm no doctor and cannot say if it's required in this case, but try to make sure the doctor you is unbiased.
