Hi, I too got my period shortly after coming home from the hospital which was shocking to me since I take the Deppo shot for birth control and haven't had an actual period for a few years (just spotting, no real bleeding). I immediately contacted my surgeon and he explained to me that this is a verry normal reaction to being put under anesthesia and it happens frequently. Mine lasted for two weeks or better and it was pretty darn heavy for about a week. As for the pooping I think I pooped the first day I was able to have my Protein Shake but it wasn't much but now at almost 3 months out I do it on a daily basis sometimes a few times a day, but then every so often I won't go for a day, but I've never taken anything for it.
