JenniLee0628 3 Posted September 21, 2011 I am so excited and it is all becoming very real! Today I am starting my 2 week pre-op diet! Any suggestions or motivations for the next 2 weeks other than this will lead to surgery which will lead to a healthier lifestyle?

What are you eating? 4 Protein shakes from the doctor ( I have to get in at least 60g a day) 1 cup of salad with 2 tbsp of fat free dressing (once a day) 1 cup of Soup ( veggie, Tomato, 98%fat free cream soups) (once a day) 1 cup sugar free Jello and pudding - (once a day) 1 cup of dannon light n fit yogurt (once a day). Also, Water with crystal light, sobe Water, sugar free popsicles, etc.
Monica_Lynn 0 Posted September 21, 2011 You guys are lucky you get actual food with your pre-op diet. Mine consists of 4 Protein Shakes per day with all of the SF drinks and Jello or popsicles you can eat/drink. I have 6 days left on this and my advice would be read a book or find a hobby that will keep your hands occupied so you aren't looking for something to do with them. For me that would usually mean finding a snack . Good luck and the 2 weeks does fly by!
5McK 10 Posted September 21, 2011 I start my 2 week pre-op diet tomorrow. My doctor is having me do Medifast during this time, but I can supplement with sugarfree Jello & popsickles and all the Crystal Light, Diet Soda and Water I want. Good luck to all! A New Day 5 Posted September 26, 2011 Exciting!!! I'm going to Aceves and he only requires a low carb diet for a week and only if you're over BMI 40. I'm going to do it anyway though, so I'll feel better on our trip to MX. I'm going to start a week from today!
