jgandg 0 Posted July 18, 2006 I was given a date - August 17th - then today when I called to see if everything was received (they had been waiting on a letter from my pulmonologist - he gave clearance for the surgery but not the results of the sleep study) I was told that my surgeon would be on vacation on August 17th, and my date was changed to the 30th. I spoke with a different person that the one who gave me the date originally. I was so taken aback and felt like I was being rushed that I didn't even respond with the anger I feel now. I had specifcally asked for a mid-August date so that I could return to work by the end of the month, when it is really busy. So I asked that my date be moved to mid-September, and now my date is 9/20. It isn't the biggest deal in the world, but it left me with a yuck feeling about the surgeon's office.
