I had the sleeve done on Wed. 9/14/11 and came home Friday 9/16/11. I was wondering are you experiencing "hunger pangs"? I feel hungry constantly????? MelissaG 0 Posted September 19, 2011 Hi Krista, I'm 6 days out, and I'm doing pretty good. I admit, I have had some back and forth feelings in the last few days. All in all, I've been really happy with my decision. I think the hardest part is just trying to cook and stuff for my family. It's really hard when I know that I can never eat the way I used to. I know the way I ate wasn't healthy, obviously, but I just miss eating. I've got to get past that. I think I'm going to have to find some hobbies out of the house so I'm not tempted all the time. I haven't had any physical hunger at all, but I am dying to eat. I've even been dreaming about food. I know it's crazy. I wish you the best of luck. I'm sure you'll do great. Stay on this site. It's wonderful, and the support is incredible for whatever you are going through on your journey.

Tippy2us 11 Posted September 19, 2011 Welcome new sleevers! I still feel like a newbie but I was sleeved on June 27th. Time flies. You may experience some ups and downs but it gets better all the time. I already feel normal, except for my clothes falling off of me. Here's a great NSV to keep you motivated. Before surgery I wore size 20W pants. I went to Kohl's yesterday and for the heck of it I went to the regular Misses department, not the Women's department. I grabbed some size 16 with NO "W" in the size and they all fit! Talk about exciting! You have so many wonderful victories ahead of you! Congratulations!! kristateaches 1 Posted September 19, 2011 I'm not really feeling any hunger at all. I'm having a hard time just getting all the liquid in I need! Perhaps you are experiencing more head hunger than anything else? Hi Krista, I just registered on this site and was drawn to your post as I am also 5 days out. JenGator 3 Posted September 19, 2011 Hello and Welcome! I was sleeved on 8/23/11, and the hunger pangs and growly stomach the first week were AWFUL. The good news is - it goes away! I am just about 4 weeks out now, and experiencing no hunger at all. I feel great - better than I have for YEARS before surgery! I have been amazed by this journey every day - already so glad I did it!! Good Luck! Jen

MelissaG 0 Posted September 22, 2011 How do you all get all of your Protein in? I try, but I'm still on full liquids and I get so full I can't stand it. Any suggestions?
