The magic of lingerie

Recommended Posts

My bf recently told me how much he loves lingerie. I have to say I have always been somewhat of a tomboy. I either sleep nude or wear some little t shirt top and that's about it. I've never gotten into the sexy fabrics or pretty stuff. I bought some stuff at Vicky Secret but I am taking it back. I found some stuff at Ross for like $3.99 on clearance that I liked much better.I have 5 really pretty things already.

My bf is in 7th heavevn. I wish he would have told me this a long time ago. I am not one to shop for stuff I don't need, but now I have found something I need and I am having lots of fun shopping.

I have yet to find red, and with my dark hair, I am on the hunt for something red. I am going out of town Monday cause I live in the boonies. I am hoping can find some more pretty things at some other stores similar to Ross .

Any in put is certainly welcome.Anyone know any good stores?

I think most stores will have some pretty lingerie . . . do you have a Kohl's near you? I know they have a nice foundations section and they are ALWAYS running sales.

He likes me to wear it for awhile watching TV before we go to bed. I love his reaction so this has been fun. I need something like a cover up because it's going to be getting cold in the evenings soon. I am excited to go shopping tomorrow!:)

Well I don't know if you have these stores close or not, but I like Burke's Outlet & Citi Trends. I found a Referee outfit out of Burke's for under 5 bucks. And I went in Citi trends and I got a multicolored one-piece and a red and white nurse's ensemble. They were boh 10 bucks and big hits.

Now that you remind me I have to head back to these store. I saw a maidenly wench and a policewoman, two pieces I am sure we can have a blast with. Nothing like a little dress-up and role play. :D

I've never even heard of those stores! You're lucky to have found such good deals.

I even went out of town today and couldn't find anything. I am going to look online for those stores and Fredricks of Hollywood.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
