Bakomom 0 Posted September 16, 2011 Hi Everyone! All of my paperwork has finally been submitted and now I am a nervous wreck waiting for insurance approval. I decided to help pass the time and keep me occupied, I will buy a few things that I need post op. I already have the things that I will need in the hospital, however I have a list of things that I want to purchase for later. One thing I want to get is an accurate bathroom scale. I have a scale that is probably 15+ years old and never weighs me the same. What brand do you guys recommend and where did you get yours? Also, the food scale that I currently have is very old and I would like to purchase a digital one. Which one would you recommend and where did you get yours? Oh...one more question in regards to what you drank out of right out of surgery. I have heard of people using dixie cups, etc. What would you recommend? wishes 125 Posted September 16, 2011 Kitchen scale wise, ozera and eatsmart are both accurate and cheap.

Adri 40 Posted September 18, 2011 Yes, I've had a Tanita for about 8 years and it's just two lbs off from my surgeon's big, high tech scale. I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond. They have a digital food scale on sale this week that I'm gonna go get with a coupon...$15.
Driver Deb 10 Posted September 18, 2011 Mine is a Tanita also and it is the same as my Docs scale and I got it at Bed, Bath and Beyond...
NJMOMof2 17 Posted September 18, 2011 I have a Weight Watchers digital scale that I bought at Walmart. It's dead on with my doctors.
kemo46 82 Posted September 18, 2011 I too have Tanita scales, they are about 8 years old and very accurate. I think they are quality scales for the money and seem to be very durable and last.
