Sunny702 2 Posted September 11, 2011 I had surgery 8/17 and I'm sooooooooo READY to hit the gym for some Kickboxing. I've been reading posts and some say 6 weeks some say sooner. I've emailed my patient coordinator but haven't gotten a response yet. I feel like my loss has been a little slow so I'm ready to "get this weightloss party started". I don't have any pains or issues (other than the weird pain by my belly button when I make certain movements).
Raine 170 Posted September 11, 2011 My doc gave me the go ahead at 4 weeks to start kickboxing. I waited until 6 weeks just to make sure because I was still a little sore here and there. Don't start to hard too fast. Modify the class to suit your needs. ENJOY!

SKCUNNINGHAM 298 Posted September 13, 2011 Wow! If you ladies started kickboxing and boxing after 3-4 weeks, you must have capes and camis with a big red letter "S" on underneath your shirts! I am filled with admiration! I used to box a little with my trainer (back in a previous thin, healthy time in my life) and did a tiny bit of kickboxing. I couldn't do it all the way because my lower back would go out. I loved both of them. I still have my gloves (red) and hope to get back to it. What an ausome workout! Go for it! Post pictures!
