ellemarie 196 Posted September 14, 2011 At week three I had a three week stall. Then last week (week 12) I started another stall so far nothing is dropping. . My daughter and I did basically the same she is in the same stall as I am, her first one lasted 2 1/2 weeks and this one started a few days before mine. We both gained two lbs, we don' t like it but know it is temporary. 1 logicwand reacted to this
tamareta 0 Posted September 14, 2011 When you say you have a 3 week stall does that also include the 2 weeks pre-op? I am at a stall and I am 1 1/2 week post op but 3 1/2 week including pre-op.
ahoy 3 Posted September 14, 2011 Mine lasted 6 weeks! Then I lost 10lbs in a week and it stayed off. Now I'm in a 2nd stall. But as long as I drop 10 lbs after this one, I'll be happy. 1 logicwand reacted to this
kellyw74 258 Posted September 14, 2011 I am a little over 4 months out and am having my first stall. I am 10lbs from goal and it is soooo upsetting to do everything so right and not have that damn scale MOVE!! Hopefully, when the stall ends the 10lbs will magically disappear! Wishfull thinking! ellemarie 196 Posted September 14, 2011 tamareta, three weeks post op seems to be the most common first stall but there are no rules here. The body just goes into protective mode when IT needs to and then lets go when it finds that starvation isn't happening. Most people go through it from time to time and mostly we encourage each other that it gets better, stay the course.
Sassygirl06 962 Posted September 14, 2011 im at 4 weeks out and still stalled. i was supposed to have my tom by now but nothing. however i am cramping now so hopefully i can get it and get over it and this stall will go away i havent weighed myself since last week so as to not get bumbed out, but i know i havent lost anything because all of the clothes fit the same. ive never wanted my period to get here so bad....except for when i thought i might be pregnant when i didnt want to be lol. Losing Laura 8 Posted April 7, 2013 Im entering my 5th week and my stall happened at about week 2.5. I was down 15 lbs at 2 weeks. Then I lost another 3 lbs ater that week. And the scale hasnt moved since! My swelling has gone down and I can now drink more fluids. Hooray! Now I just have to be patient and wait for the scale to start moving again. Michele1024 11 Posted April 8, 2013 Thank you for this thread. I hit my 3 week mark and I have stalled at 26 lbs. On top of this I feel like I am going to get my period again which makes me feel bloated. I was beginning to feel a bit discourage. So much so I had a snack I shouldn't have had. Didn't get sick. I didn't go overboard but I am only supposed to have 3 meals and no Snacks at this point. Watching my boyfriend snack on stuff really hasn't been helpful. I am not hungry but I just miss the social aspect. I have to get over it!
