changing to mushies tomorrow. what should i buy?

I have my 2 week check up tomorrow and am hoping to be promoted to mushies. What should I pick up at the store? Favorite mushies?

My drs top four favorites are cottage cheese, low sugar yogurt (no fruit/seeds), eggs and tofu. I loved refried Beans cream of wheat and mashed potatoes (although we are discouraged from these). Soups in the blender are yummy too.

I ate cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, applesauce, greek yogurt. I did eat some egg salad made with mayo and plain greek yogurt. I chopped the eggs very, very fine and chewed them to death. I was also allowed to have 4 low fat Ritz round crackers per day if I let them "melt" in my mouth before swallowing. Honestly, they were the absolute best. I looked forward to those crackers the entire day. I was so glad to have something salty and crunchy after 5 weeks of sweet liquids.< /p>

I started a 9 day stall the day I switched to mushies so be prepared......

Not much!

I was on Clear Liquids for the first week, then promoted to full liquids for the next 3 weeks. I was soooooo excited to get to mushies I bought everything people had mentioned on the boards. Needless to say, my new tummy couldn't handle half of what was mentioned and the quantities were miniscule. A single scoop of VERY SOFT mashed potatoes---say from KFC lasted me 5 days. Firm mashed potatoes, like from chicken Express, I couldn't even eat. It was well over 6 weeks before I could eat the refried Beans. Both cottage cheese and ricotta worked well for me.
