mrskhicks 0 Posted September 8, 2011 I don't think implants are for me. I'm 40 and will just have to roll with whatever happens. But congrats to you for doing what makes u happy.
kellyw74 258 Posted September 8, 2011 Yeah, I am with you on this one, I don't think I would do it either. But, hey if that is your cup of tea, then go for it! Mine look fine with a good bra, just smaller! And since I use to complain that they were so big, I guess I got my wish of smaller ones!! LOL Kelly I don't think implants are for me. MegInNOLA 531 Posted September 9, 2011 I've gone from a 48H to a 40FF and I think things are smaller now (I got the 40FF's in July). They look radically different--they are a different shape, lots of loose skin (odd wrinkles close to the body), and they don't point forward any more!! So I feel everyone's pain!!! Happily, they now look great in clothes, and I'm still happy to have what I have--I'm 6'2" and seems like I'm going to be fairly thin when I get done losing, but I really wanted to hang onto the girls (and my husband would like that, too!), at least somewhat. I guess we're all going to have to wait and see! I'm not planning to have augmentation when I'm done, since I've spent my entire adult life with big ol's, but if I don't like the shape, I might just think more seriously about it. mrskhicks 0 Posted September 9, 2011 Yeah my Hubby is the same. He has been so supportive and says no matter what I'm beautiful but he checks often to see how the girls are doing...lol.

That's how I was too in the beginning, and things held on for a good long time. But once I realized they just disappeared and I wasn't happy with them, I changed my mind. One thing I don't do anymore is say I'll never do this or that. If I did, I wouldn't have gotten my sleeve or any WLS and I'd still be fat today! Nothing wrong at all with when all is said and done feeling great about yourself. I think you're doing awesome, and good for you for keeping an open mind. thinoneday 445 Posted September 9, 2011 I know this may be TMI...but i need to hear from some ladies out there please! So i started off a 44H and 3 weeks post op im a 40H! Please o please dont let them go all away!!!! My trainer says i will be fine and in the dd's or ddd's. Anyone have experince with this??? Please give a girl some hope...lol Isn't it wonderful! I started off with 58FF, had major boob surgery (lost 14 lbs off each) and with the WLS am now a neat and tidy 38D. . . I love it! No more comparison to a large animal. . . I hated that . . . I think you're doing awesome, and good for you for keeping an open mind. Yep, Diva is right. I said I wouldn't do plastics, that I'd just be happy to get the weight off. However once I did get the weight off I didn't want the unbelieveable sagginess that went along with it. My tummy is my biggest issue since it's making me have to buy larger wasted pants just to account for the extra skin. Once I get that done I will get my boobs one day. I have had breast since the 3rd grade so these puppies have been pointing south for a long time. I've nursed both my kids for a long time and they have done their job but I want them to be full and perky! Never say never!
mrskhicks 0 Posted September 9, 2011 I agree. However, at 40 and seeing the long and short term affects of breast implants I know I will pass! I'm married to a great man and he says implants are nice to look at but he couldn't support the cosmetic surgery or seeing me go thru that. In sure that's not for me at this stage of the game. But hey, I'm not knocking anyone who does. If I was in my 20's sure but I'm good...lol. just need to stay beautiful on the inside as my Hubby says ....baby you got the outside covered boobs big or small : )

ldydrgnkpr 49 Posted September 9, 2011 Yeah I am going to look into getting reconstructive on everything. (maybe not everything, already had a TT years ago.) I found this wonderful plastic surgeron in the same buliding as my PCP. He accepts my insurance and so with fingers crossed I will be scheduling an appointment for a consult on what he can do and then speak with the insurance department on their billing procedures. I would like to hopefully schedule a late spring date. I am so hoping to be super near goal. Deb.
SKCUNNINGHAM 298 Posted September 9, 2011 At my highest weight - I wore a 46D. Those bras were tight in the band (probably needed a bigger band size) and not too full in the cup. So I wasn't well endowed considering I was ~120 lbs overweight. Now that I have lost 89 pounds, I am wearing a 42B. The 42C's I have are too big in the cup. I have another ~30 pounds to lose, and I expect I will end up a 36 or 38 A or B. I'm hoping I don't go back to the double/A training bras of my early teens! And perky is not a valid descriptor - droopy is much more accurate. I am going to start doing a bunch of chest / upper body exercises, to build up the underlying musculature - but that will leave me with a toned torso with flat saggy boobs on the front. At that point I will evaluate my surgical options. But now I'm a size 14 with droopy boobies rather than a fat size 24!
Deakay 15 Posted September 9, 2011 I was a 32 A in high school.......at my biggest a 38B. Still wearing the same size but once I've been at goal for a while will get augmentation. And I will be 50 by then But I will be 50 years old with or without nice boobs........so I choose yes! A palm reader told me I would live into my late 90's so I think it will be a good return on my investment! /snark
mrskhicks 0 Posted September 11, 2011 I was finally able to meet Angela who started off around the same weight as me pre-op! 24 months out she looks great and is wearing a 38DD! She is happy with her size and has no complaints of saggy flat breast! YIPPEEEE! She said what worked for her was eating right, Water, Protein, Vitamins and staying active at least 4-5 days a week. So, another great story to hear about! : ) keeps me encouraged and hopeful…lol
Khy 16 Posted September 11, 2011 Well for those that don't want augmentation, you can just get them rehung. Khy 1 weight_no_longer reacted to this
