HDubSleevery 25 Posted September 6, 2011 Hi y'all. I am in the mushies phase and I am trying to figure out if I can have soft whitefish like tilapia. Do you know if it is ok at this stage or if I need to wait until we move into the full foods phase? Thanks!
smkeller 3 Posted September 10, 2011 I would think so if you are tolerating everything that you should be. I was eating fish (stay away from salmon, though, too dense) after about ten days.
HDubSleevery 25 Posted September 13, 2011 I had some chicken and it was heavenly. Thanks!
NewLife2011 13 Posted September 13, 2011 I had some tofu and did OK on it. The next day I tried some again it got stuck in my throat and I had the worst pain ever! Since then I've been back to full liquids and mushies again!
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted September 13, 2011 Yes, soft white fish is considered a mushie.
HDubSleevery 25 Posted September 15, 2011 I got a finger wagging for eating chicken before the 30 day mark. I told Gaby what I was eating in my weekly email/update. She said no chicken/turkey/deil meat until 30 days to make sure the staple line is healing. She said even if I was tolerating it well that I needed to wait until 30 days. Soooooo....I'm back on softs today. Tomorrow makes thirty days. I bought a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich from the Breakfast cart and just ate the eggs and cheese. They tasted like bacon. mmmm...bacon. I was tempted to not listen to Gaby, but how dumb would I feel if I messed something up even after they told me what to do?
