Krystle 2 Posted September 3, 2011 Hello All, I don't have steri-strips on my incision sites and last night my tummy started itching!! Like I want to tear it off. Since I don't have the steri-strips on it I know it's not a allergic reaction to the glue. Anyone else have this problem??? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

earthchick97 0 Posted September 4, 2011 So glad to hear someone else has gone through this! I itched like crazy and I even had some red bumps and rashy looking areas on my belly. Everynight I applied over-the-counter cortizone cream and after about a week and a half post-op it cleared up. If it doesn't clear up for you, either talk to your primary or your surgeon. Krystle 2 Posted September 4, 2011 Thanks so much. The itching is good today. I am a week and two days post-op. So it's getting better. I have been appling topical cream to the area's that are rashey. It's been working. Not 100% sure what caused it. But it seems that a lot of people get this from surgery.
