grannyk 58 Posted September 3, 2011 I never felt bad at all!! I was a little tired for 2-3 weeks because I was adjusting to greatly decreased calorie intake, but I had no nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc that lots of people talk about on the forum. In fact I often wondered if they really did surgery on me. Now at 41/2 months out I know they did because I have lost just over 50 pounds and I can feel the restriction. I'm glad someone else is feeling good like I did. Best wishes on the journey of your life...Kathe
JBoyd 2 Posted September 4, 2011 I am a week out, and I never felt bad. I was amazed that the lack of pain/discomfort. I was a conversion from a band to the sleeve. My stomach has been sore, but I was up walking all through the hospital after my surgery and haven't stopped. Returned to work last week and it is like the same ol stuff. I have gotten hungry a handful of times, and am battling my love for food, as the liquid diet has been tough for me. I want more and am ready for substance. I can't quit thinking about food. Is this normal? Currently I am eating applesauce and Tomato soup....and have caught myself eating more than 4 oz.......I didn't think that would be possible. kellyw74 258 Posted September 4, 2011 I felt great too!! I was just sore and a little tired. Please remember that you did have major surgery tho and take it easy!!! I was walking 2 miles at 5 days out and got into trouble!! So just remember to take it easy and rest even though you do feel great! Kelly
