You really do look fabulous!! At what point were you able to 'believe' that it really would work for you. I'm still at that doubting phase. lol

I think about three months is when I started feeling better and really seeing a difference. You will get there for sure!

Wow! Thank you Disney! Oh...I have a lot right around my tummy....it seems to want to hang around. The funny thing is, if I don't lose it....I'm still perfectly happy!

Despite having seen quite a few before and after pictures the first thing that popped in my head when I saw yours was "Wow people do get thin with this surgery!". It's still shocking. You look GREAT! Congratulations.

Down 110lbs! 30lbs to goal!

In the picture where I'm wearing the pink, I'm down 100lbs. The other picture is me down 110lbs. What's weird is that I was so fearful that this wouldn't work for me. I do have some issues that I deal with due to the surgery, BUT I do not regret it at all!

You look great and congratulations!!!!!!

AMAZING! How inspiring you are:) I can't wait to have my sleeve surgery on the 17th of Sept. so I can begin my journey. I am nervous about the surgery and keep thinking "what if I'm the one that surgery doesn't works for" Did you have to exercise to lose the weight? Congratulations on your successful journey so far

Other than getting into much smaller clothes (yeah!), I shocked a couple of friends when they have seen me....even ones that see me on a semi-regular basis. The look on their face has been wonderful....to me! :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
