beebrown 0 Posted August 27, 2011 Hi peeps! I'm Béatrice, wanted to let you know about my journey and hopefully exchange with other members who had the same surgery that I had on Feb 3rd 2011. At my highest weight I was 435 pounds (On June 3rd 2010). The day of the surgery I was 403 pounds. Today I'm 297 pounds. I go to the gym 3 times a week by doing 1 hour cardio and 30 minutes of weight lifting. I,m very tall 6'1 so the weight loss has been pretty quick but not without a lot of sacrifices, as you may know it's a tool not a miracle. You don't get a brain surgery we all know that. I struggle everyday to eat right, but sometimes it's hard cause what you can eat is so small that you feel like you can eat one or 2 chips, or a bite of a burger....You know... Well I'm not very good at explaining my whole journey and english is not the language that I use on a regular basis. I'm french Canadian. So I hope to talk to you soon!
