Truley Feel like Dr. Kelly in Tijuana Mexico Best Choice I ever made

Recommended Posts

I have to say that I am an individual that did not qualify by U.S. standards for the surgery, but have been struggling with my weight for years and needs a tool to help prevent major health problems that were destined to come my way. First let me say that Dr. Kelly has such a good spirit, don't let anyone fool you. No matter what kind of petty thinks may be going on between individuals that work around him, he is a trustworthy expert who I personally would trust my most loved person to. He is a simple man that takes pride in what he does and cares about people. I would suggest anyone traveling from the U.S. to use Dr. Kelly, who is known as the best in mexico. I set out for him and wasn't going to stop until I got him. Secondly, Trish's heart is in the right place, she is there for the patients, supporting them and holding there hand for support, I saw so many women travel alone for this procedure, I honestly think it is best to bring someone with you. "people may not remember what you said to them, but they will always remember how you made them feel." That is the key to great customer service. Dr. Kelly's got it and he is an expert!

I am almost two weeks in, and boy I have went to bed several times, had dreams about food, and woke up in the morning full. LOL Very funny! I guess that is just how much I love food. I not really hungry, I do find my myself having a bit of mental hunger. I have lost 10 pounds the past 12 days. I do workout and I surely have more energy!!!! Since 8/3/2011, I am down 25 pounds. Thank you Dr. Kelly in Tijuana mexico!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
