lulublu 7 Posted August 20, 2011 I am just over 3 weeks post op and feel like I am doing really well. This week, though, I've noticed I'm sooooo tired all the time. I'm on mushies, but still mostly drinking full liquids... at least 70 grams of Protein. Any suggestions? Is this normal? Thanks.
DrMommy 4 Posted August 21, 2011 I an 3.5 weeks out and exhausted every day. I could take a nap every day if I had the time. For me, I know I am not getting enough calories in. But I think it is normal for many people. My primary physician warned me about the fatigue months ago before my surgery.
To Be Thin 2011 80 Posted August 23, 2011 Oh I remember being so tired up to week 5-6...Hang in there, as you move to regular food you will not be as sleepy any more!
FishingNurse 1,211 Posted August 23, 2011 I am 2 weeks out and I have 1/8 of the energy I had pre-op. I suppose 21lbs of weight loss in 2 weeks can do that to you! I have found the more protien I get the day beofre the better I do the next day. I am finally getting my target of at least 60 grams starting this week! LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted August 23, 2011 I was in the fatigued camp too. It's perfectly normal, not to worry. I was pretty much exhausted, and I mean really bad for the first two months. In time as I started progressing to solid foods and better choices (more balanced) and kept taking my supplements on a regular basis my energy levels increased. Now I'm a spitfire of energy!!! 1 FishingNurse reacted to this
