staceybea 0 Posted August 19, 2011 I had my surgery on Tuesday at noon and came home yesterday at 2pm. I'm not going to lie, it was and still is very painful. It turns out I had a Hiatal Hernia that the doctor repaired as well. I seriously cannot remember hardly anything at all from the day surgery bay and until I arrived in my room later in the day. Throughout that evening I pretty much stayed on the morphine and finally got up and walked late Wednesday. It's been difficult to find a good sleeping position but soon enough that will change. All in all, I am glad the surgery is over and now I can begin my weight loss journey!

LisaM 3 Posted August 19, 2011 I had a hiatal hernia too that had to be repaired. I was out of it for the first two days and it took me a week before I started feeling better. I just had my surgery on August 8th and I'm feeling 100% better today. Hang in there, it gets a lot better in a short amount of time.
