MissBliss 29 Posted August 18, 2011 I am 2 weeks out, physically I feel okay (a little pain at incisions, but that is it) but emotionally I am on edge. I used to spend my nights watching TV with my laptop on my lap and munching on junk food, now that isn't cutting it for me. I want to go-go-go, but not sure where to go or what to do! I guess I need to get a hobby or start a new project but am clueless as to where to start! And I would have to do it alone because hubby works so much overtime that he comes home and crashes and has no energy to do anything. I am sure this is an adjustment period and I will get through it, but it is a byproduct I wasn't expecting!

I am sure this is an adjustment period and I will get through it, but it is a byproduct I wasn't expecting! Hi! Keep in mind your hormones are raging as well.... I had a tough time dealing with the hormonal changes, I was very moody, moody, moody! I would cry over a commercial on TV or if you dare said something the wrong way, I was a tiger growling at the top of my lungs... At my 6 week check up I brought it up to my doc that I am wayyyyyyyyyyy to moody. He explained to me about the hormonal changes that occur with the surgery... I worked through it, I still have days that I am pretty touchy for no reason at all... Just thought I would mention it to you.. As for filling your time that was spent on eating, trade it for exercise! Or go on line and find low carb high Protein recipes for something you could make for you. I find my computer is now my best friend, not food! I read up on weight loss, low fat recipes, body make overs, I have 3-4 blogs that I love to follow (the world according to egg face is wonderful)... I could spend all day on the computer! Good luck in finding what works for you!
