myrori 55 Posted August 23, 2011 I'm getting sleeved next week in Dallas (Castro) and I'm really kind of scared that I am going to miss eating large portions of food. Is this normal ? I ended my food funeral tonight and start with my liquid Pre op diet tomorrow. What do you do when you just want the sensation of chewing food? Miss food,, hell yeah in the pre op! Aftewards,, no, no desire. Full and uncomfortable is full and and uncomfortable! It stimply become what is, not what was. Working out for those nice arms or abs becomes the norm! FishingNurse 1,211 Posted August 23, 2011 I missed the eating in the pre-op diet, but after I have not really. I take a few bites and I am satisfied. Unfortunately we cannot eat like pigs AND be thin and healthy. I made my choice, and I do not regret it. I am going to be a much happier, healthier person. So what if you miss eating a lot? You will be thin and healthy and that's much more rewarding.
