GinnyWhite 0 Posted May 8, 2004 Is it normal not to have your cycle the month of your surgery? I was due the week I was banded and still no visitor and its been over 3 weeks. It seems like that would br normal because of the shock to my system. I know i ask alot of questions but I don't like to bother the Dr. Thanks Ginny
La_madam 20 Posted May 9, 2004 My period was suppose to arrive the week after my surgery and there it was a week after surgery just like clock work, the only thing I noticed different about mine was it was very light with minimal cramping which I can asssume it was like that from surgery and the fact I only had liquids in my system no junk food or chocolate like normal pre band months! My doctor did tell me my cycle "could" be irregular the first month after surgery due to the surgery and possibly months after due to the wieght loss. We wil lsee how this month goes which is suppose to arrive early next week. Michelle

newlapper 0 Posted May 11, 2004 I had surgery on the 5th and started on the 7th and wasn't suppose too until the 13th... Has that been a great thing or what, plus I'm sick, I always get a cold after a hospital stay, I believe it the room is well ventilated and small. I go for my 1st post- op Thurs, can't wait to see my little week loss. I've never not had food like this. liquids for 6 days now. lol
