FishingNurse 1,211 Posted August 13, 2011 Ok so I want to warn everyone! The day of surgery and 2 days after were no picnic. I am a nurse, and was not prepared for how hellish I felt be prepared for the worst. But on a good note, I weigh 12lbs less than last Sunday! I feel better and better everyday. I am going back to work Monday and I get to advance to full liquids including yogurt. So excited. I am in good spirits and hope to keep it up! Yay!
Indymom 132 Posted August 13, 2011 I was sleeved on the 10th and agree with you - the first few days were ROUGH. Today is my first full day at home and I'm feeling pretty good. I'm already on full liquids so that is definitely helping.

kellyw74 258 Posted August 14, 2011 The first few days are hard, but remember you just had MAJOR surgery!! My case manager said next to heart surgery, this surgery is next in line! People fail to realize it because they don't really feel that bad, but it is MAJOR!! They remove part of your organ!! Of course you will feel poorly!! I didn't really feel bad, just tired and sore. Everyday is an improvement. Hang in there!!! Kelly
