Guest Rosalind Posted August 10, 2011 More than 2 years ago, I had an auto accident. Some fool ran into the back of us while we were sitting at a stop light then our car was pushed into someone else. We had double impact. I went through therapy and everything but had not settled yet. Just when we were working out a setllement, my neck started hurting close to "natural child birth pain". My neck specialist sent me for an MRI. I should have known when he wouldn't give the results over the phone something was wrong. Turned out, I had two big bone spurs pressing my spinal cord causing nerve damage. After a complete meltdown  , I decided to have the surgery since was almost at my 5th month visit. My neck specialist said he would let them tilt my head back in 6 weeks. This made me have to squeeze all my appointments in 3 weeks. It was a rush but I did it! I made it through disc surgery on my neck! No pain just a sore throat and gas in my chest? After this, I wll be having my wls before I return to work...........maybe mid September. The lesson learned........Calm down and deal with it!:cool2:
