raul76051 0 Posted July 12, 2006 My wife just found out that she was pregnant, she's 8 weeks. She currently has a fill, she called the last doctor she went too and she was told that she needs to remove the fill, she decided to call the doctor that did the surgery and he said, there's no need to remove the fill, who is correct? any suggestions? Thank You in Advance, raul76051
juliegeraci 7 Posted July 12, 2006 I would think that if she is consuming enough food and not feeling bad she is okay. There is another thread out there right now with the same circumstances. Her doctor wants her to eat 1800 calories a day. He also suggested an unfill. Just an FYI.
Marimaru 7 Posted July 12, 2006 As long as she can eat as much food as she needs to for her and the baby, she should be fine. If she is very tight at all, I would recommend having at least a little taken out, as Water retension can reak havok with restriction.
Fauxnaif 1 Posted July 13, 2006 I didn't remove any fill when I was pregnant. But I was pretty loose at that point. I still gained about 30 pounds during the pregnancy. So I think it depends on how tight the band currently is. By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
