wondering1 103 Posted August 8, 2011 Ok, I know you see this all the time but please someone talk me down from my ledge. I've really been great and calm all day. Now I'm going through all the scary feelings. Please, please, send prayers and positive thoughts my way. I promise to update when I'm out of surgery.

dalready 0 Posted August 8, 2011 You will do great! I had the same feelings - cried when I checked in at admissions for goodness sakes! Your nerves are to be expected. Grab ahold of them and go for it. You will be so happy when your new life begins. Best to you and can't wait to hear from you once you are home!
mamamckinzie 92 Posted August 8, 2011 You do not need to be on the ledge sister! Sleeve world is great! Not a walk in the park the first few weeks but each day gets better and better. It is so nice to unchained from hungry, hungry, tummy. I like my tiny tummy. I can manage it! I feel like I did when I was in my 20's on the hunger scale. It's been soooo long I had forgotten. So even though it is very normal to have some anxiety right before surgery it will all work out for the best. You are making the right decision for your health! Good luck and wishing you a smooth and safe surgery and recovery!
