Lutasha 102 Posted February 4, 2018 I don’t think the pcos had any bearing on getting approved. The main items that were under consideration were my weight and track record of not being able to achieve a healthy weight. 1 PCOSSUCKS reacted to this
PCOSSUCKS 96 Posted February 5, 2018 Anyone with a 36-7 BMI with good success with sleeve surgery having PCOS? I know I love all kinds of food so I would consider myself a foodie however I didn’t feel like I have an inappropriate relationship with it. I only say that bc on another thread some people were talking about food addiction which I feel is different than myself and possibly others looking to or have already had surgery. My question is, what has been y’all success having PCOS?
PCOSSUCKS 96 Posted March 7, 2018 I thought the sleeve was going to be what I was going to have done per my referring dr but the surgeon said he thinks bypass is the best option for me due to reflux...anyone else’s dr say anything like that?
Lutasha 102 Posted June 10, 2018 Hey, I thought I would post a quick update. My surgery was 3 years ago this week and I lost a total of 108 lbs. I’m down to 167! It’s been slow, yes, but if you eat reasonably you’ll eventually lose the weight. My goal weight (normal BMI) is 151. 1 Smartbuckeye reacted to this
