Just-A-Gem 86 Posted August 3, 2011 So, September sleevers this is my current prep step. I have been stocking up on Wonton broth (freezing for post op), Protein Shake samples, "Better than Boullion" base flavors, and this weekend I am planning to cook several different soups/broths to start my freezer stock for post op.. Other items on my grocery list this week include SF Jello and popsicles. Gotta start somewhere? What are y'all doing to prep that pantry/fridge/refrigerator? 30 days! Just-A-Gem 86 Posted August 4, 2011 I forgot... lol.. Your list reminds me of some things that I have acquired. 12 - 4 oz. easy find rubbermaid food storage containers 5 classic Torani SF syrups (French vanilla, Caramel, Hazelnut, chocolate, Raspberry) Hamilton Beach Single Serve Blender (AMAZING!! I bought it a couple weeks ago at Wal-Mart ($12) and it's awesome! Way better, and cheaper than the bullet!) As far as the scale and the baby spoon/forks, lol, I already have those (my youngest is 2). The scale I have is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Escali-P115C-Digital-Multifunctional-Chrome/dp/B0007GAWRS It's awesome and very inexpensive for a scale of it's caliber. I bake, so I've had it for some time but when I brought up weighing my meals rather than using a measuring cup it was quickly pointed out to me that our bellies are 2-4 ounces capacity by volume, not by weight/mass. wishes 125 Posted August 4, 2011 Yeah, Amazon how a starter 6 pack of the Torani syrups really cheap, so you can try a couple and see which you like. They really liven up the plain old boring vanilla Protein shake. OMG, I have the same blender! Yeah, it is totally a steal. Also, don't forget there is a Hospital Checklist on the forum for what we might actually wanna bring for surgery. P.S. Don't forget Gas-X strips!

nilesmama08 0 Posted August 7, 2011 Hello Everyone! Scoot over for me! I am having surgery in September. My surgeon is so busy. I was told Sept 7. and then Sept 14. Surgeon's office is suppose to call this week with a final schedule once they have finalized. I am looking at everyone's list and I need to get shopping ASAP! I only have Protein samples from various companies. I want to buy unjury chicken Soup, unflavored, and nectar Protein samples. I saw Torani syrups at my local Walmart. I will pick those up on my next grocery visit along with a food scale and tubberware. I have enough baby dishes due to having a toddler, lol. So excited ladies! We need to get this board rocking!!! Good luck to everyone!
wishes 125 Posted August 25, 2011 You won't believe what I have found! I now used a baby formula dispenser for my Protein Shake powders. You can have three different shakes in the 3 different compartments and still carry them around lightweight and hassle free. I bought two Munchkin brand dispensers for 2.50 at Walmart.< /p>
