LR6909 10 Posted August 1, 2011 I am so excited. I got my date—August 23rd. Preop on the 17th. I am so excited. I am going to order more unjury shakes this weekend. Go to Wally World and get a Magic Bullet and a Candle Warmer. Yippee!!! Another plus was I received a check in the mail from the hospital that did my EGD--refunding me the 117.00 I paid them. I wonder how much the co-pay will be for the surgery.....thank God for overtime these last few weeks. Can I just say I AM GRATEFUL!!!! God is faithful! I am tentatively scheduled for Aug. 22nd. I'll know by the end of today if its for sure (finding out about financing). I think I've seen the Magic Bullet - is that a Protein drink? But I've never heard of a Candle Warmer. What is that?
LR6909 10 Posted August 2, 2011 Magic Bullet is a mixer of sorts that makes shakes in a jiffy. From what I read on this board, some people also use it to puree foods. The Candle Warmer sits on your desk or table, etc. and you can put your cup of Soup or coffee, etc. on it and it keeps it warm while you sip, sip, sip. I haven't begun to buy anything but my pre-op diet starts in a week (two weeks of mostly Protein drinks) so I think I will have some fun shopping over the next few days.
