dsua 1 Posted August 1, 2011 I'm 5 days post op and I don't feel well at all. At times I begin to question if I did the right thing. I have almost no energy and just feel sick. 1 Kristy5150 reacted to this

Kristy5150 0 Posted August 1, 2011 DSUA, I am 7 days post op. Are you dehydrated? Are you still on Clear liquids? I think this is normal, all though I must say I feel well, though a bit fatigued if I do not get my calories. Are you in any support groups? If not, I highly suggest you go on Facebook (you can always establish an anonymous name under another email) and join the group Gastric Sleeve Support Group. It is very active and several of us are newbies. Once you get on that group (which is open and can appear in your personal newsfeed - thus no confidentiality unless a fake name) then there are several other resources on FB linked through that support group. I find support is the biggest thing for success and doing it on line will allow it to happen 24/7. My advice - sip, sip, sip. Walk, walk, walk. Get some Protein in. If you are still on clear stuff than you can buy some Protein Water which does help and of course some carbs at this early stage. Kristy Valentine
