VSG4aHealthierMe 6 Posted July 31, 2011 This video was made with bypass patients in mind but I think it is really good info for ANY WLS, and even b4 WLS. It discusses the prevention of muscle loss in WLS patients. I found it to be very informative, hopefully someone else will too! <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/SZ8Z4TAew-A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> More really informative videos found here: http://www.youtube.c...u/3/6SHQ20ssAgg

Khy You find it in body builders formulas.... I just ordered some from Netrition.com (they charge $4.95 for shipping no mater how much you buy, so I stock up on other stuff at the same time... good selection of low carb stuff...) Khy 16 Posted August 1, 2011 The 3 things he said were creatine, whey Protein (we all know about that) and glutamine. He talked mostly about creatine. He didn't say much about glutamine. Glutamine is an amino acid and therefore some should be in the whey protein in all those Protein Shakes I am trying to get down. Khy
Diane 24 Posted August 1, 2011 I wonder if you can get this creatine at any drug store? Anyone know, or do you have to purchase it online?? Thanks in advance for your response?

Khy I listened to quite a few of his videos, and he does change his advice from the earlier ones to the later ones. I quoted a new study that says the milk is just as good as whey to keep muscle mass... (of course milk has more carbs...) He also is talking more about NOT taking some Vitamins in his later videos. Jensharley 9 Posted August 2, 2011 I drink the Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 shakes from GNC (tastes great!) and they have both creatine and glutamine and are whey based.

Creatine helps the body to build muscle, but also improves the brain function. He sited studies done in elder care homes 5 gms a day was the dose. He has a channel on Yotube.
