Crab legs

Recommended Posts

I'm just wondering how to determine what a serving is. Is it a cluster or just one little leg? The box just says serving size 3 oz. but doesn't indicate what that is. And of course I don't have a kitchen scale yet. I plan on getting one tonight.

Thanks y'all

What's the total box weight and how many legs are in it? I'd figure out how much from those. I wouldn't eat more than 2 without a scale.< /p>

Crab legs aren't something you can binge on, you have to eat them slow so I wouldn't worry about it. Eat them until your hunger is satisfied but don't get too full. Use real butter to get some of that yummy good for you fat and ENJOY!

I don't like butter on my crab legs either. I think it's sacrilegious to do that to a perfectly good hunk of crab. I can't wait either. I'm on "no shell fish" until like month 4/5 though. :(

I had crab legs last week while out of town. They were awesome. I told my husband that it was wonderful that I could order a small portion of crab legs and be completely full. Plus, as an added bonus, I wasn't finished eating way before everyone else like normal. It was a great dining experience.

i LOVE crab legs! Are they considered a slider food since the meat is so fine?

I love crab legs!! I can eat a lot of crab, and it goes down well for me. Its got tons of Protein and just makes my day... LOL :) I don't add any butter or anything like that. I like to boil with some season salt and I'm good to go.

Enjoy!!

I don't think so. They are Protein. They definitely weren't a slider for me. I couldn't even finish my little cluster.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
