I'm Linda from near Kansas City Missouri. I started trying to get banded backed in 2008. I kept getting setbacks with my insurance and kind of gave up. Then earlier this year I got a post card from Malley Surgical Center about the gastric sleeve and that was it! My insurance is finally approved and now I am just waiting to hear a date. It's driving me crazy waiting. I received my approval letter a week ago Friday. The office said it would most likely be in about 4 weeks. My surgeons will be Drs. Malley and Fearing.

I'm off to read all the information here. Thank you all for being here!

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
