Well, surgery is over and so far it hasn't been too bad. Nausea immediately after surgery was horrific but has subsided a lot. I have already walked a mile today. Man, walking helps a lot! Leak test in am then I get Clear Liquids.< /p>

Gratz on the walking. Don't know how you did it. My left side really hurts. LOL got stuck in bed today because I decided not to take a pain pill before I laid down. Had to have my son pull me up. I have been walking but not that much. Day of surgery I wasn't sleepy at all. I kept thinking I just had surgery my body needs sleep.. Well my body wasn't having any of it. But that caught up with me today.

I am amazed that you are blogging the same day as your surgery. I get mine 8-9-11 and hope to be blogging and walking like you, lol. I wish you the best of luck and congrats on your new life.

Thank u all for the support. I cane home yesterday and so far do good! It is so weird not to be hungry at all. I am truly having to remind myself to drink.... Wow
