Dark inner thighs

Recommended Posts

Hello ladies,

I hoping someone here has some experience in getting rid of this. I have darker skin on my inner thighs from the years of them rubbing together. Now that I am losing weight... and have a pool party to go to... I would love to know if anyone knows a way to get rid of this or to make it lighter. It is soooo ugly!

Thanks!

Make a homemade sugar scrub (google for the how-to), and add pure lemon juice to it, and you can apply straight lemon juice it. Over-moisture those areas after your done and allow it to dry. I'm pasty white, but my thighs had a funky reddish tone to them. The lemon sugar-scrub and applying lemon juice helped. Plus, the more weight I lost, the less they rubbed together so that definitely helped too. Now, all my skin is the same color.

Whatever Michael Jackson used seemed to work wonders...

Seriously though, you can buy fade cream at the grocery/drug store. I have a few sun spots on my face and it has helped quite a bit. I imagine it would work on thighs just as well.

I used to have the same problem and once my thighs stopped rubbing together sometime around size 8, the skin there faded to match the rest of my body in a matter of a few weeks. It will go away on its own before you know it!

South beach skin solutions. We sell this at my salon for backside lightening. But can be used anywhere. Quite expensive but worth every penny!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
