Ihave6kids 29 Posted July 25, 2011 You are feeling what every one else has felt. You don't know quite what to expect and it makes you scared. That is perfectly normally. This whole thing is a learning experience. Within 1 month of my surgery I was totally sorry I had the surgery. I cried. You can't quit and it is a little frightening. When you realize all the wonderful aspects of losing weight you finally come to accept your decision and are ok with it and eventually very happy you did it. People say they would do it again in a heart beat. You may not say that right away but you will say it eventually. I felt like I was going to fail also. I thought I would be that one person who the surgery wouldn't work on. (I think we all think this.) Well, it has been just over 1 year and I have lost almost all my weight. (68 lbs) with 15 to go. A little slower than most but still coming off. Trust what everyone is saying. We're not getting paid to say all these wonderful things about our surgeries. Lol. We really are so very glad we had this surgery and DEFINITELY would do it again in a heartbeat. Wishing you well, Julie So i recieved a call to schedule my surgery date....
