Ok, so TOM was supposed to visit on the 12th - the day of my surgery. Well, he didn't show up until yesterday. Normally I get Migraines with my TOM, but this time not. Instead it's cramps. I don't have the pain medication that the surgeon prescribed (when I went to get it filled, the pharmacies I tried could not get it) and frankly didn't need it.

I'm just wondering what could I take to alleviate the cramps? Any other ladies have this situation?

I have noticed my period is much worse since I have had the sleeve surgery. Not sure if it is the estrogen released by the fat loss? Or it could be I always used to take motrin all the time (several times a day) because my knees hurt and now that I have lost some weight my knees are not hurting anymore? Anyway....I have noticed I can just take one tylenol (and I used to take at least two). Does a smaller stomach absorb it quicker or something???? I was told not to take ibuprophen but am going to ask at my 3 month apt. because I see others posting it is ok after it has healed.

Thanks - I think I will pick some up when I go out later. Thankfully, the cramps have gone away slowly on their own. But I will get some to have on hand for next time.
