Mercyanew 0 Posted July 20, 2011 All has gone as expected and I am about to be discharged from the hospital. Thankfully I have had little nausea. I am very sore and weak. The gas pain hasn't been too bad. I have only had ice chips, Water and jello; they went down easily. I have the most trouble with the liquid lortab. It burns as it goes down, but I do need it. The gas meds help too. I will have to travel home, a four hour drive, tomorrow. Ive got to stop and walk every hour. My doctor told me to sip water on the trip and start Isopure at home since it may make me nauseated. A funny thing happened on the way to surgery. They asked my consent for several other doctors from around the country to observe. I was their VSG lesson. LOL Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
