losingitin2012 3 Posted July 19, 2011 My citracal Calcium Creamy Bites have 40 calories and some carbs. I have to consume 3 per day. That's a lot of extra calories and carbs. Do these count toward my 600-800 calories per day?
Rootman 1,101 Posted July 19, 2011 I suppose they do but I would disregard them, you aren't going to get fat off Vitamins, and the 120 or so calories extra is NOT going to sabotage your diet.
kellyw74 258 Posted July 19, 2011 I count them, but agree with rootman. Kelly
Foxbins 625 Posted July 19, 2011 I counted them--a calorie is a calorie. I also switched to a lower-calorie, lower-carb liquid calcium citrate I found at costco. In a few months, I plan on switching again to Citracal petites, with no carbs and no calories.
Indymom 132 Posted July 20, 2011 Awesome, I didn't realize costco had liquid Multivitamins and liquid calcium! Adding that to my list of post-op stuff to buy.
