Medifast for pre-op diet?

I have a shelf full of medifast food which consists of all shakes. I was wondering if I could use the medifast diet as post-op diet after vertical sleeve surgery. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

Probably. Check with your surgeon to make sure though. Some will have different requirements for Protein Shakes after surgery.

I hjust went for my 1 week follow-up. My NUT said the Medifast/Healthwise stuff was a good choice. I woudl double check with your surgeon but I would think it would be OK.

I am going to use some of the WonderSlim pudding shakes I got from DietDirect for the pre-op and probably a little of the post-op also. They are delicious. I really love the cocomint.

Thanks Leslie... I am going to check but most shakes should contain all the nutritional value required. I'm also going to look into wonders and cocomint sounds yummy.
