wildoatslady 0 Posted July 17, 2011 Hello Everyone! I am patiently awaiting my surgery date(not really), should be early October. Wish it was this week! I am SO ready! I have been overweight all my life, and now after 2 kids I am heavier than ever before. My g-ma & mom were heavy and I have dieted for as long as I can remember. I am tired, I hurt and I want to get healthy before I really start having serious health problems. I am halfway thru my 6 months pre-op and I go for my EGD on Wednesday (eeeeek) I am nervous about that, but I always get nervous before any procedure. I have had 2 c-sections and I am hoping the VSG will not be any worse. I have been looking around here for a week or so and I have gotten many great ideas & I am hoping this forum will help me the farther along I go.

Becky Andrews 0 Posted August 2, 2011 Sounds like we should be having surgery around the same time! I have to have mine sometime after september 15th, so I figured I will be lucky if it happens sometime in October because of all the pre op testing that has to be done. I am super excited to go on the crazy roller coaster journey with you! I can't wait either. Hello Everyone! I am patiently awaiting my surgery date(not really), should be early October.
