Leslie 14 Posted July 10, 2011 So my surgery is Tuesday. I am very calm about it. This surorises me sooo much. My preop diet has been fairly easy since the third day and I am sooo ready for this surgery. Tomorrow I am taking my daughter to a children's museum. The just relaxing and doinf full liquids on Monday. I really thought I would be more nervous... maybe that will set in Monday night though. This has been such a journey! jasleeve 440 Posted July 10, 2011 congrats! how long was your preop diet? i have to be on a 6 month diet but im so confused. my primary dr told me not to lose weight because then insurance wouldnt approve me but will they deny me if i dont lose any weight? Leslie 14 Posted July 11, 2011 Jasleeve- MY insurance didn't have a pre-op diet requirement but my surgeon did. He puts everyone on at leat a two week pre-op Medifast diet. It is basically super low cal (think less than 600) and low carb too. I lost 10 pouns in two weeks though so..... Nancy- I am excited and my nerves my be starting alittle.
