Yoda 0 Posted July 8, 2006 Okay, so I finally have some restriction now (since my fill on Thurs). About 2 or 3 hrs ago I had a digestive cookie (just one) and I feel something "sitting" sorta I guess where my band is....it's not painful, although it is slightly discomforting. About 30 mins ago I had a bit of hot tea thinking that might help (it didn't). So, my question is....(because our supper is almost ready) should I just avoid eating right now and wait to eat supper until this feeling has gone away? I'm not sure if I should "test" it and take a few bites of supper or if that would be completely stupid. I REALLY don't know because I don't know if this means something is stuck (in which case I know I shouldn't put more food on top of it...right?) or if it is just a weirdo feeling that you normally get with restriction. Advice appreciated!!!! Please and thank you!

S@ssen@ch 745 Posted July 8, 2006 I'd wait to eat solid food until you're feeling 100%. I've had those feelings and I just get active. Getting my mind off of it also helps. Whether I'm exercising or just doing housework, it's amazing that you're busy then all of a sudden you feel better. BTW, what is a digestive cookie? If it has a bulk fiber/laxative substance in it, those items often cause a "back up" in the upper part of your stomach and may make you uncomfortable. Bulk Fiber is not recommended in bandsters.
