imawhodat 3 Posted July 8, 2011 Zofran worked for me. Call your doc and get a script.
leeblewb 9 Posted July 8, 2011 Zofran works so much better than Phenergan. It is sublinguial, meaning you don't have to swallow a pill, it dissolves on your tongue, so it works so much quicker. It was first for patients who were nauseous from chemo, so that tells you how good it works. It was a live saver for me after my sleeve. The only problem I had was nausea. Not really much pain, just nausea.

Firefly2 9 Posted July 9, 2011 Diva Dee i understand completely what your going through. im so happy your doctor gave you zofran. that stuff is amazing, i still take it when i eat something that doesn't completely agree with my tummy and in 15 minutes i feel wonderful. also take gas-x for your bloating, it will help so much. Good luck DivaDee!
DivaDee84 12 Posted July 9, 2011 Thanks Firefly! I'm just really disguted with all of this crap! I'm at a point where I wish I didn't have the surgery. I feel overwhelmed...
lifechanges 3 Posted July 9, 2011 It does get better but believe us all it will take time. It's frustrating at first but u will get to know your new stomach.
JackieOMonroe 123 Posted July 9, 2011 I have Zofran too and I love it. Mine are the regular tablets that you take with a sip of Water (they're tiny), not the sublingual ones.
ybnormal 21 Posted July 9, 2011 Thanks Firefly! I'm just really disguted with all of this crap! I'm at a point where I wish I didn't have the surgery. I feel overwhelmed... awww sweetie *hugs* I'm so sorry you're having a hard time with this! I was going to tell you that Dr. Campos told me to take Dramamine and that helped me out a lot when I was sick. It's really hard at first but I promise it gets easier and you'll make it. Just keep plugging away, one foot in front of the other and one day at a time. Before you know it you'll be so much better and all this will just be a memory. Time really does fly for some reason after the surgery, you'll see! xoxo's, Renee`
